Rules & Guidelines and Forms: 

District 8 4-H Fashion Show, Storyboard, Trashion Show, and Duds to Dazzle: These district contests will be held on Tuesday, April 25, 2022, in Cleburne. If you are interested in participating in one of these contests, please see below for the guidelines and forms. Deadline for contacting our office will be April 4th with intent to participate and all paperwork and entries are due April 8th 2022 on 4-H Online. Intent to participate requires you to email: mlholcombe@ag.tamu.edu with which contest and categories you would like to participate in. If you do not have a full team for Duds to Dazzle, please let us know if  you are still interested and we may be able to find you teammates.

Things to note:

• This year, students will be asked to give a presentation, like they do in Food Show, instead of just conducting an interview. Those guidelines are laid out in the attached letter.
• At this time, we are planning for a Fashion Show to take place at the conclusion of judging, prior to awards. Please note that if anything changes with our COVID-19 guidelines, that is subject to change.
• Fashion Storyboards are an invitational contest, meaning that no qualification will take place at the District Contest. Those wanting to participate in the State Contest will need to enter that contest beginning April 1-15, 2022 via 4-H Online.
