Annual Hidalgo County Leadership Workshop

All Hidalgo County 4-H members (Juniors – Seniors) are invited to join the County Council to have fun, learning both communication and leadership skills. Members will learn about a variety of topics in hopes they will be able to take what they have learned back to their clubs. Also, by learning about the responsibilities of holding an Officer position, we hope to empower youth to run for office at the Club, County, and District levels.

Held every year in August, members will work together in team building activities and projects. Lunch, snacks, and drinks are provided.

 2018 Leadership Workshop Topics & Registration

Inviting all heros of the Jungle!! At the 2018 Retreat held on August 13th from 9:00am to 4:00pm (registration will begin at 9:00am) at the First Methodist Church in Edinburg, youth will learn about each Officer Role, Parliamentary Procedure, State Roundup Contests, and the County Ambassador Leadership program.  Registration fee is only $20 and includes lunch, snacks, and drinks. Payment will be accepted at the Extension Office any time until August 3rd or the day of retreat. Please bring exact change!
